Caesar Salad
Our Caesar Salad is one of the top ten Caesar Salads in New York City, according to TimeOut. But the story begins long time ago in Mexico, in 1924 to be exact, Caesar Cardini mixed the first Caesar Salad in his Tijuana restaurant. Word spread, and soon people were coming from far and wide for the savory green salad of romaine lettuce, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy, garlic, Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese and lots of black pepper. Julia Child remembered her family making a pilgrimage to Caesar’s restaurant for a taste of the famous salad.
Ever since, the Caesar Salad has been a favorite in fine dining establishments around the world. Aretsky’s Patroon carries on this tradition, with our own Caesar Salad — some have called it the best in New York. On special occasions our Stephane can make a delightful show of making it table side, and the end result is undeniably delicious!

A Caesar Salad that is a special treat.
